Mrs. Lori Corrigan

I graduated from Portland State University and have completed coursework in the Orton-Gillingham Approach for reading, spelling and writing.  I worked in Public Relations before I knew that I was passionate about working in the education profession to teach lifelong learning strategies in literacy intervention for reading, spelling and writing, as well as, the structure and content of the English Language.   Having the confidence and skill set to read, spell and write is important in anything you do in life.  It is my goal to help our students make progress, work on setting their goals and succeed in their literacy skills.
 

Here at Christ the King, I am dedicated to supporting students in reaching their academic goals with perseverance, confidence, joy and with their Catholic Faith in mind.  I enjoy encouraging a love for reading and the art of writing with the vision of God’s beauty and love surrounding our learning.
 

I love to spend time with my family, run, cook, camp, read, listen to music and ballet dance. As a child and teen, I was a ballerina - which continues to be another passion of mine.  I am so grateful for the opportunities that I have had to make a difference in a child’s life.
