My name is Colleen Creech. I am the second grade teacher here at Christ the King Parish School. I’m originally from New York State where I attended St. Bonaventure University, a Catholic University steeped in the Franciscan tradition of service, community, humility, and discovery. It was here where my desire for serving others was fully realized and my calling to become a teacher was made possible. My Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and my Master’s degree in Childhood Literacy, prepared me for various roles in public schools on the east coast. I’ve worked as an Elementary Academic Intervention Teacher, a 3rd and 4th grade classroom teacher, a Reading Teacher for K-5, and a tutor. When my son was born, I was called to become a stay at home mom. After 8 years- once my two children were school aged- I transitioned back to teaching first as a Kindergarten Teacher in North Clackamas School District, and currently as a member of the CTK parish school family. This is my third year teaching at CTK. I enjoy spending time with my kids, running, hiking, listening to Christian music, and raising awareness for pediatric cancer.
