"I started giving to the endowment because I felt if I could help just one child obtain a Catholic school education, then my contribution could make a difference. As a child myself, I was blessed to be surrounded by a faith community of family, friends and teachers at my Catholic school, and I cannot imagine going through life without the gift of faith."

BACKGROUND & GOALS
The CTK Endowment for Education Fund was founded in February 1988 for the purposes of helping keep school tuition affordable and stabilizing operating costs through a permanent income source. The principal is never spent, with only the endowment income used for educational expenses. Initiated by pastor Fr. Richard Rossman through a $5,000 gift from the relative of a graduating CTK student, the fund has increased annually through private donations, memorial and tribute gifts and bequests from area parishioners and community members
2018-19 WESTON MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM
This year, the Joseph E. Weston Public Foundation will again match gifts to the CTK Endowment for Education Fund up to $30,000, and $20,000 for Tuition Assitance effective October 1, 2018. Since 2000, Mr. Weston has matched a total of $130,000 in gifts given to our Endowment Fund.
MEMORIAL & TRIBUTE FUNDS
Christ the King Catholic School initiates a memorial fund for an individual or couple when a gift to the Endowment is made in his or her name. A Tribute Fund is initiated in honor of a person, couple or family during their lifetime, and is generally made in remembrance of a special event or in recognition of past or current service. A gift of any amount officially begins a Memorial or Tribute fund. We regularly announce these named funds within the Endowment, inviting donors to contribute in the memory or in honor of one or more of their loved ones. Families are encouraged to consider initiating a memorial fund as part of their funeral planning.
